Refund policy
CANCELLATIONS
Our hamper boxes are produced especially for your order. If you wish to cancel an order, please ring 07852551568 or email creamteahamper@gmail.com giving 48 hours notice. After that time, preparations will be underway and we cannot accept a cancellation. As they are perishable goods with a short ‘shelf life’ we cannot accept returns for persihable goods.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS RE PERISHABLE GOODS.
When you shop online you have the right to a “cooling-off” period of 14 calendar days in the EU (Consumer Contacts Regulations) and 30 days in the UK (Consumer Rights Act 2015) whereby you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to the seller. However, we're selling perishable goods and perishable goods are not covered by these cooling off periods, as they might not reasonably last as long as the stipulated 14-day or 30-day thresholds.
We cannot accept returns of any perishable goods, e.g. clotted cream, fresh or frozen products.
NON - PERISHABLE GOODS - VINTAGE CHINA AND OTHER ITEMS

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns must be received in their original condition.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
SALE ITEMS
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Damaged Products
If any of your products are damaged in any way upon receipt, please email us at creamteahamper@gmail.com.
Please send an image of the damaged product along with your Order Number and an explanation of the problem. If the products are faulty through no fault of your own, we will happily replace or refund the affected item/s.
Cancellations
When you shop online you have the right to cancel your purchase for a full refund until 14 days after it was delivered in the EU (Consumer Contacts Regulations) and up to 30 days in the UK (Consumer Rights Act 2015) whereby you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to the seller. Perishable goods are not covered by these cooling-off periods, as they might not reasonably last as long as the stipulated 14-day or 30-day thresholds.
Requests for cancellations must be made before 11am on your Dispatch Date - see your Order Confirmation email and Order History for details. Cream Tea Hampers buys in perishable products specifically to fulfil the orders we receive, and we cannot cancel or refund orders for the perishable products once we have sourced them at your instruction. These exceptions inlcude: Please make sure you are happy with placing your order, review your Shopping Basket before making payment and completing your order.
- Please check your Order Confirmation email to review the details of the order that you have submitted. Cream Tea Hampers cannot be held liable for acting in good faith on incorrect information received.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
There may be unforeseeable circumstances such as severe weather, war, fire, acts of God and other causes beyond our control which force changes/cancellations - and we'd always endeavour to find a solution or liaise with you under such situations. That would also apply to orders beyond our capacity as all products are subject to availability.
For perishable goods we use by law, catering designed chilled packaging from our catering equipment supplier. We ensure all our hamper boxes are posted with 24 hour tracking to ensure your order is delivered fresh on the day/date you requested the order. If goods are passed to a 3rd party outside of this time frame or in an unrefrigerated way, we cannot be held responsible.
ALLERGIES
We take allergies very seriously. Our suppliers cannot guarantee the absence of traces of nuts in their catering environment. It is important to note there may be traces of NUTS as our suppliers work with other ingredients and can never guarantee the absence of traces of NUTS and our environment may contain them.
If you have any queries about our products or any special requests, let us know, prior to ordering. All our ingredients are made by ourselves or sourced as locally as possible. There may be small variations from hamper to hamper as a result of their freshly-prepared qualities.
